Background: Appointed by former Councilwoman Laura Chick to the Los Angeles Mayor’s Bicycle Advisory Council, which I’m still on 20 years later and appointed to her Woodland Hills / West Hills Neighborhood Planning Committee. Co-Chaired her Orange Line Feasibility Study. Ran for City Council under the Valley Succession movement. I’m a member or Councilman Zine’s P.O.S.S.E. and am C.E.R.T. trained. I have been involved with issues at Santa Susana Field Lab, Santa Monica Mountains, and Valley Vote. I am a 15 year resident of West Hills.
Goals: Serving on the Neighborhood Council has given me aspirations to run for office in a City or State position that serves the community. I want to further serve our community to keep the West Valley a safe and beautiful place to live that we are all proud of. I believe in maintaining the low density of most of the West Valley and keeping our corporate centers blending in with their “campus” look and green belts. I believe in the community working with City / State Government to bring about change.
