The business of the West Hills Neighborhood Council is conducted by a Board of Directors. The BOARD OF DIRECTORS is composed of twenty-five volunteer Stakeholders as defined in Article III of the WHNC Bylaws, and serve for a period of three years or until the Director’s successor is elected and qualifies. The terms of the directors are staggered such that approximately one-third of the directors, termed a Triad Group, can be elected each year at the Annual Meeting. Any Board member who has three or more un-excused absences, as determined by the President, or any six absences within a twelve month period running from election to election from the meetings set forth in Article VI shall be terminated from service on the Board until the next annual meeting, at which time the member may be re-elected by the Stakeholders.
