2008 Neighborhood Council Proposed Bylaw Amendments

At the September 5, 2007, the WHNC Bylaws were revised to amend language at the request of DONE. The change has no impact to the operation of the West Hills Neighborhood Council (WHNC) Board.

The change is to Article IV Section 2, and the change is to language that reflected our election nominations. In the original Bylaws, the nominations were to be held at an "annual meeting." This language was changed to reflect open nominations for a period of 45 days prior to the election.
