West Hills hosts SPOT anti-terror training

In the aftermath of the terrorist shootings at an Orlando nightclub, the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA), the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services and the LAPD’s Valley Bureau presented two training sessions on Site Protection through Observational Techniques (SPOT) at de Toledo High School in West Hills on June 16.
 
SPOT trains community members, school personnel and others in techniques used by the government and military to prevent guard against terrorist attacks.
