The West Hills Neighborhood Council will consider resolutions pertaining to proposed housing developments on Sherman Way and Fallbrook Avenue during its meeting on Thursday, July 7, at 7 p.m. at de Toledo High School, 22622 Vanowen St. (east of Fallbrook and across the street from Shadow Ranch Park).

One of the housing proposals affects the former Lederer property on the south side of Sherman Way at Woodlake Avenue, where developers seek zoning adjustments to build a total of 51 homes on two lots. The other proposal concerns changes in design for homes to be built on the former Boeing Fitness Center grounds at the top of Fallbrook Avenue near the Chatsworth Nature Preserve.

Other items on the agenda include efforts to reform the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, a proposal to support the San Fernando Valley Commuters and Bus Riders Coalition, presentations of Certificates of Appreciation, deliberations on financial matters and assignments of titles and roles to members of the WHNC Board of Directors.

All are welcome to attend WHNC meetings and address the board during public comment periods.
