The West Hills Neighborhood Council is sending two representatives, Joanne Yvanek-Garb and Simone Best, to represent West Hills at meetings of the 2017-18 Budget Advocates.
The Budget Advocates solicit input from their neighborhood councils and stakeholders on priorities for their areas and make suggestions to improve city efficiency, income and costs.
Over the coming year, the Budget Advocates will weigh in on priorities relating to transportation, public safety, the Los Angeles River, DWP reform and the environment, among other issues.
