West Hills had one of the largest delegations attending the annual Congress of Neighborhoods at City Hall on Sept. 24.
The gathering drew more than 800 representatives from 96 Neighborhood Councils throughout the city to meet city leaders and attend workshops on a wide range of subjects, from ethics training to innovative visions for the city’s future.
An address by Mayor Eric Garcetti concluded the day-long event, which also included talks by City Council President Herb Wesson, City Controller Ron Galperin, Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, Department of Neighborhood Empowerment General Manager Grayce Liu and many others.
