West Hills weighs in on city issues through CIS process
Community Impact Statements (CIS) are official statements of positions adopted by Neighborhood Councils on pending issues before the city’s decision makers.
The CIS process was created specifically for Los Angeles’ 97 Neighborhood Councils so they can publically express support, opposition or suggestions about any pending matter before the City Council, its committees or city commissions.
West Hills board members and stakeholders can also communicate their views individually by submitting a letter to the City Clerk with an identifiable Council file number. Letters from individuals are included in Council files as Public Comments.
Letters can be sent to: Office of the City Clerk, 200 N. Spring St., City Hall Room 360, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
