Covid19 restrictions update February 16, 2021

Good morning, 
Yesterday was an eventful day. I thought this email would be helpful as many of you contacted me yesterday asking for an update.

The City of Los Angeles will align with the County Health Officer order including allowing outdoor dining at restaurants starting on Friday. However, we must continue to protect our medical workers, our loved ones, and our community. That means wearing a mask, practicing physical distancing, and following the public health guidelines.

The following is allowed starting January 25 with adherence to all of the sector specific directives to ensure distancing, wearing of face coverings, and infection control:
PRIVATE GATHERINGSOUTDOORS ONLY, UP TO 3 HOUSEHOLDS, 15 PEOPLE MAXIMUM
MUSEUMS, ZOOS, AQUARIUMSOUTDOOR OPERATIONS, 50% CAPACITY
CARDROOMSOUTDOOR OPERATIONS, 50% CAPACITY
OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIESALLOWED
MINIATURE GOLF, GO KARTS, BATTING CAGESOUTDOOR OPERATIONS, 50% CAPACITY
FITNESS FACILITIESOUTDOOR OPERATIONS ONLY
PERSONAL CARE SERVICESINDOOR 25% CAPACITY
INDOOR MALL, SHOPPING CENTER, LOW RISK RETAIL25% INDOOR CAPACITY, 
FOOD COURTS & COMMON AREAS CLOSED
HOTEL & MOTELSALLOWED FOR TOURISM & INDIVIDUAL TRAVEL

The following restrictions remain in effect until January 29:

• Restaurants, wineries and breweries remain open for pick-up, delivery, and take-out only.
• Non-essential businesses closed from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Residents are advised to stay home as much as possible and always wear a face covering over their nose and mouth when they are outside their household and around others.

Los Angeles County remains in the Purple Tier. The state has a portal to help businesses and residents with an explanation of what that means for specific business activities.
