I have lived and worked in West Hills for 10 years. My husband founded a start-up company in West Hills, and my children attend public school here. I have a Master’s degree in Geography, and have worked in disability law, non-profit, academia, film, and currently in the long-term care industry.
My primary goal on the Neighborhood Council is community outreach in order to ensure that the needs and voices of all stakeholders are reflected in what we do. West Hills is a diverse community with diverse needs. I believe in transparency, accountability, and full representation in government. I prioritize health, safety, and social justice. I also believe in practical solutions, compromise, and creative problem-solving.
The best thing we can do for our neighbors and other stakeholders is to pay attention, learn as much as possible, and use creative problem-solving that works for as many people as possible.
