West Hills 7/15/17 Community Cleanup Event

On Saturday, July 17, the West Hills Neighborhood Council battled and emerged victorious against overgrown vegetation and pine needles along Medical Center drive between Woodlake and the West Hills Hospital & Medical Center. Under the hot summer heat, roughly 35 volunteers from the WHNC's Beautification Committee, Galpin Ford, and West Hills residents came together to beautify West Hills. In total, we were able to clear around 80 bags full of vegetation and debris in about two hours! We want to thank all of our volunteers who came out to help, specifically Sarah Horvet and the entire Galpin Ford team. Without there kindness and generosity to the community, the event wouldn't have been as succussful as it was. We also want to thank Starbucks, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Badda Bing Bagels and Fields Market for donating ice, bagels, and coffee to energize our volunteers.
