The Los Angeles Fire Department has added a fleet of electric motorcycles to improve emergency response and wildfire operations. The motorcycles allow firefighters and paramedics to reach areas that are difficult for larger vehicles to access, including rugged terrain, trails, crowded events, and areas blocked by traffic or debris. The bikes will be used to locate injured or stranded individuals, provide initial medical care, assess hazards, evaluate risks to infrastructure, and support wildfire detection and disaster response operations.
