Former Highlander Road School Site Update Page

The West Hills Neighborhood Council is committed to keeping our community updated on current plans of the site of the former Highlander Road School.
Now that the demolition of Highlander Road Closed Elementary School is complete, LAUSD is reassesing possible uses for the site. The plans to build a Visual and Performing Arts Middle and High School as a satellite campus to Hale Middle School are on hold and LAUSD is evaluating other sites for that project. The WHNC will provide updates when released by LAUSD.
